Planning

The planning of the film went well i had plenty of ideas and kept thinking of more my favourite idea that I had was the one that i went with which was a person waking up in a room and having no idea what was going on and what was happening they end up being interrogated and “killed” but they never actually die  and wake up being confused. The original idea that I had for this film was for the main character to actually be crazy and wake up in a bed with them screaming and rocking but i felt that was too extreme for the project and didn’t want to listen to someone scream whilst editing over and over so I stuck with it being more simple. Most of my planning was on paper and through a mind map and some simple drawings to look at and help me visualise what I wanted. From the start I planned to have the filming done in the photography room as it had the perfect back ground and lighting for what I wanted and it sounded good in their for audio as well so it was perfect and planned the entire film around the room and how it would work in there. The best part of the planning was the story board as it set the final way I would record the film and it the style it helped me a lot to visualise the final product. The other part of planning was the shot list which expanded what the final product looked like in my head it was very useful and guided the filming with a bit of improvisation as some parts didn’t work. The last part of the planning was the script which was easy to write and the actors worked well with the script by adding to it whilst acting and making what I had done better

Thoughts

My overall thoughts on the project aren’t very good I had a lot of issues due to not booking rooms this effected the project a lot as I had to film last minuet as it was the only time I could get to the room I needed which was the photography room. I’m glad i didn’t use any other room because I wouldn’t have had the lighting and background I would have wanted as it is the main part of what makes the film interesting and stand out. My thoughts on my planning were good though as whist I was planning I kept getting new and better ideas on what to do and how to do it and what helped me finish the project happy with the final film the planning and final film is what I was most happy with in the entire project everything else I disappointed my self with as I had a lack of motivation to do with
