I started planning by doing quick sketches of what I wanted to make inside of wallpaper. These sketches really helped with how I was going to go about and designing the actual assets inside of affinity when I came to making the wallpaper. One of the sketches I never used as it didn’t fit with the theme of the wallpaper as it used smaller circles inside of the larger circle whereas all the other assets I had designed and planned use straight lines rounded on the end so I scrapped the idea of using the “classic” moon style at all. I was really happy with the designs of the planets and rocket.

Whilst planning and drawing the assets I labeled and described what I wanted to have in the final design and I also said that none pen lines would be in the final design and all the colours would mixed together and not split up by black lines. I couldn’t decide what colours I wanted the rocket to be so I decided to leave it blank and added some flames on theb back of the rocket which I didn’t like the look of at all. Most of what I drew stayed true to what I made in the final product except the “space clouds” and the rocket flames. my favourite part is still the comet which I didn’t change a single part about it. I made notes on almost everything about the different designs like the colour schemes and how they would be made mentioning layers and child layers and turning down opacity.

I didn’t make a final design sketch as I didn’t know how I wanted the final product to look because I decided to just make assets that I can move to wherever I want so to make a design for the final. I did do a lot of describing of how I wanted the resolutions to work and very breifly what order I was going to do and what order because I didn’t think that I would need one to make the assets it was easier to decide what I wanted to make as I went a long. This side of the paper was mostly based on research on resolutions and how I was going to go about it.
